In 1989 Porsche offered a second generation of the iconic 50's Speedster. Only 814 cars were built for the U.S. and they were an instant success. Completely sold out months before they arrived in the U.S. many were selling for large amounts over the actual window sticker price. Still today, these cars are coveted by those who want something different than the average and highly produced Cabriolets.
This particular car is probably the most unique 1989 Speedster ever built. It was custom ordered in Granite Green Metallic and Nephrite Green Leather interior! As far as we know today, this was the ONLY Speedster ever produced in the distinct and totally rare color combination. It is the most beautiful Speedster we have ever seen, and for those who like one of one cars, this is the one. Perfectly optioned with Sport Seats, deviating silver stitching, air conditioning, Porsche floor mats and when new a $8,000.00 Nakamichi High End stereo system was installed which is clearly pictured in the photos provided.
